The core Oracle8i certification path includes 5 exams. Here are some resources that will help you get certified.

Download the Oracle8i DBA track candidate guide from the Oracle education web site. The candidate guide contains the objectives that are covered in each of the exams.

The Oracle8i certification books from Sybex are excellent resource. These books cover each of the objectives listed in the candidate guide. The books come with a CD, which includes trial version of Oracle8i, hundreds of practice questions and sample tests. The flash card questions can be copied to a Palm device and can be practiced even when you're traveling!

Oracle Technet membership is a must for all DBAs. Technet membership is free and gives you up to 25% discount on all OCP tests. Remember to mention your Technet membership email address when you call Sylvan Prometric to register for the test.

You must also check the OCP candidate guide in the Oracle education web site. The web site contains important information such as the number of questions, passing score. sample test, etc.
